Goggles for Clinical

Good evening everyone,

I got some clarification today on goggles, for anyone considering purchasing your own pair. According to Diane Jones, director of infection prevention, “Goggles that provide eye protection from the side and top are acceptable.”

Based on her statement, something like either of these should be fine:

Goggles 1

Goggles 2

Purchasing your own pair is completely optional. We have been told that there are plenty of face shields available for all employees and students.

Just thought I would provide some guidance before anyone spends money buying some!

Thank you,
