Nate Wildt is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with 5 years of experience working in various settings. He graduated with honors from the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing in 2014, where he earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Nate began his nursing career working on the surgical unit at Seattle Children’s Hospital as a floor nurse, charge nurse, and nurse preceptor. He then worked at VCU Medical Center in the Pediatric ICU, and later in the pediatric gastroenterology clinic in the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU. In 2019, he started working in the Emergency Department of Winchester Medical Center. Nate then worked as a home health nurse and case manager at Valley Health Home Health. He is also a wilderness EMT and is fascinated by the challenges presented in backcountry medicine.
In his spare time, Nate enjoys biking, backpacking, fishing, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He is excited and honored to be a member of the PN faculty at Centra College, where he aspires to continue making a difference by teaching and inspiring others.
