This messages is for all incoming ADN and LPN students for the Fall 2019 semester.

Hello! I hope all is well.

The start of class is rapidly approaching. Before that, new students will be attending their second orientation day on Monday, August 12th from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. For this orientation, we ask new students to bring their Apple iPads with them.

If new students have not yet acquired an Apple iPad, please see the iPad requirements below. If you have any questions about using an older iPad, let me know and we can discuss it.

Part of our second orientation will consist of students getting textbooks and electronic copies of their textbooks. Having an iPad will allow students to access their ebooks and any issues with your ebooks can be worked out during orientation. The description below is Apple's latest base model iPad, anything more than this (larger capacity, cellular data, an iPad Pro, an Apple Pencil, etc.) is up to the student and not required. Also, be aware of the cover note at the bottom. Here is a link to Apple's website for the base model iPad: Link
